- new option allowing an arbitrary function of the parameters to be added to chi^2
  (new optional XML node called "chi_sqr_extra_term", see user manual for details)

- new "Type II" matrix models (see user manual for details):
  "multi_exp_mat_II_model", "multi_exp_expE_mat_II_model"
